Sydney is by far one of the world’s most iconic cities, but do you want to know more about its convict past? This running tour will take you on a journey through several vastly different eras from a penal colony to the bustling and popular beachside city it is today.

During the run we will take you to see a number of historical sites including Hyde Park Barracks and the majestic St Mary's Cathedral as we share with you the Story of Sydney, Australia’s first and oldest city. Learn about the early days of European settlement in 1788 and events of the 1800’s right through to the 20th century developments of the iconic landmarks of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. You will be able to contrast the modernist architecture of Sydney’s Darling Harbour with the more historical sites visited in the tour to capture Sydney's diverse essence.

We will conclude the tour with a coffee at a trendy central Sydney café to immerse yourself in the present day culture of this fabulous city.
